When you try to make everything wireless a lot of people think so router is always the way to go but not always necessarily. how to connect hub to router is not a great idea when you're using wireless devices such as a wireless printer or even a wireless external hard drive. Your router should have enough ethernet connections but using USB requires drivers most of the time when ethernet connectors does not and most routers doesn't have USB connections anyway this only comes with modems that my have routers built into them. I have four different routers and not one of them has a USB connection so you can't have them together but if you're going to a hub a router with other wireless devices you can get an expander that some might think it is a hub. This is the use more than what the routers capable of but I would suggest just upgrading your router since you will more than likely just keep having connection problems. I have a router that is made for just one computer and I need to upgrade it and I found one fairly reasonable that will operate two computers and my my wireless printer without any problem and as a modem built into it.
